Wine tourism - the treasure of Vojvodina

The whole region lies on sandy land that emerged after the disappearance of the prehistoric Pannonian Sea. That is why wines from this area are popularly known as wines from sand. Sandbale terrains, moderate continental climate and quality vine varieties provide very drinkable wines. The wine tradition of the Subotica-Horgos peak is over 2000 years old, and wine tourism is one of the main features of the area. Tradition and quality are the main features of the local winery, among which we would select only some of them: Zvonko Bogdan winery, Vinskidvor, Tonkovic winery, DiBonis winery ... as well as many others.
